Pampa ISD
1. MANDATORY MEDICAL ENROLLEMENT – This year’s medical enrollment is mandantory as the district must maintain Affordable Care Act and Cafeteria Plan (Section 125) compliance. All eligible employees are required re-enroll in medical and voluntary benefits for the 2016/2017 Cafeteria Plan Year. Employees are encouraged to review dependent and spouse information to confirm that the enrollment system has correct social security numbers. Employees not participating in the Cafeteria plan must participate in the enrollment to either select or decline benefits.

Employees who do not participate in Pampa ISD’s Cafeteria Benefit Plan are required to enter dependent and spouse information into the system with their benefit declination.

2. PLAN CHANGES– Changes for the 2016/2017 Plan Year Include: Rates/Benefits for TRS Medical Plans, Vision rate increase, new Dental Plan, new Medical GAP Plan and new Accident Plan.

3. IMPORTANT DATES - This year’s Employee Benefit Open Enrollment begins with a pre-online enrollment period on Monday, August 1st - Friday, August 12th.

Benefit Booklets will be distributed at the New Teacher Orientation on Tuesday, August 9 and at the district Convocation on Monday, August 15th.

Benefit Counselors are on location providing enrollment support the week of August 15th based upon the following schedule:
Tuesday, August 16th -12:00-5:00 - Wilson, Travis, Austin & Lamar Elementary (Computer Lab)

Wednesday, August 17th 8:00-5:00 Administration Building - Attendance, Bright Beginning, Business Office, Curriculum, Custodial, Food Service, Grounds, Human Resources, Superintendent office, Maintenance, PLC, Technology, Transportation, and Warehouse. Please note a schedule with times by department will be communicated prior to the enrollment date.

Thursday, August 18th 8:00-5:00 – Pampa Junior High School (Writing Lab) and Pampa High School (BCSI Lab 1)

Thursday, August 18th 8:00-5:00 - Pampa Learning Center (Computer Lab)

Friday, August 19th 6:00 – 6:00 - Administration Building – Make up day This is the only time that the insurance changes are allowed for the upcoming year, unless an employee experiences a qualified family status change during the year.
