The purpose of this website is to give you information, and answer your questions, regarding your benefit package. Your benefits are an important part of your total compensation, so we invite you to familiarize yourself with details of these plans and encourage you to seek clarification when necessary.

2018-2019 Benefit Updates!

Midlothian ISD is excited to announce several enhancements to our Employee Benefit Program for 2018-2019. Please review the notes below for comparisons and changes..

> U.S. Employee Benefit Services Group will continue to be the Third Party Administrator (TPA) for Midlothian ISD.

> Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC) will continue to be the Plan Administrator for our medical reimbursement accounts and dependent care accounts.

> OMNI403b will continue to be the Plan Administrator for the MISD 403b and 457 voluntary retirement programs.

> Standard Insurance Company will continue to be the carrier for the Long Term Disability Insurance. Some highlights of their new offering are below.

o Lower Premiums for all employees.
o Improved benefits for employees with pre-existing conditions.
o Guaranteed issue benefits- All employees can sign up for coverage, or increase coverage, without having to answer health questions.
o The Doctor visit benefit currently offered under the American Fidelity plan will no longer be available, however the lower premium will offset the loss of this benefit.
o Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D) will be offered as an optional feature allowing employees to select the coverage or not. Employees who are currently covered under the disability policy will want to enroll for the voluntary AD&D plan being offered this year.

>Lincoln Dental will continue to be the provider for Dental Insurance.

>Superior Vision will continue to be the Vision Care provider.

>Allstate will continue to be the Cancer, Heart Stroke, Accident provider
